After a long time, I'm pleased to announce the release of a new update for Pocket Chips.

• Performance and Stability

The app has been completely rewritten using a modern stack to ensure robustness, testability, and scalability.It is now faster and significantly more stable.

Many bugs have been fixed, and overall performance and user experience have been improved.

• PRO mode with additional features.

I'm pleased to introduce the app PRO MODE, which unlocks many new features:

1. Disabling all ads in the app
2. Ability to customize the blind structure
3. Undoing recent game actions
4. Hand Solver
5. Custom avatars with photos from your gallery
6. Setting up a sit-out mode

Pro Mode is a permanent purchase, and it's a great way to support my work.

• Antes and Blind Structure configuration

An ante mechanic has been added to the game.

 

In the game settings, you can configure its size and type:

Traditional: All players pay (~10% of the SB) before the blinds. 

BBA: Only BB pays (amount = 1BB) after the blinds, goes to the main pot winner in full. 

 

[Pro-feature] 

Pro Settings are also available, allowing you to customize the blinds structure. You can set the desired number of progression levels, and specify blinds and antes for each.

Level progression can be set manually, every N hands, or every N minutes.  

• Make player as away with Sit Out Mode

You can pause a player (sit out mode) by long-pressing them. In this mode, the player will skip hands until they are reinstated.

There are two modes in the settings: 

Cash-game: the player skips the entire hand.

Tournament: the player is required to pay the mandatory bets and then folds.

• Undo last game actions. 

[Pro-feature] 

You can now undo any actions within the current game.

 

Undo is only available for the last 20 actions.

 

Undoing old states becomes unavailable when starting a new game or exiting the app.

• Custom Bets

A custom bet toggle has been added to the settings.

When this mode is enabled, the game will allow you to bet any amount of chips outside the game rules.

This amount will be indicated by a red area on the slider and around the confirmation button.
